Adel Richard Curry, Jr. “Pie” was born on May 31, 1967, in Miller County, Georgia to Adel Curry, Sr. and Alice Lois Anderson Curry. 

Pie was a hardworking man who worked in agriculture to make a living for his family. He married Maurice “Bit” Houston, the love of his life. To this union together they share three loving children. 

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany GA, Pie went home to be with Jesus after a battle with lung cancer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Adel Curry, Sr. and Alice Lois Curry; his wife, Maurice Curry; two grandchildren, Channing Curry and Kehlani Houston; two brothers, L.C. Curry and Willie Jaye Curry, and his sister, Vickie Curry.

He leaves to morn his departure his three children, April (Lamar) Bell, Richard (Corvosia) Houston, and Jazzy (Crystal) Curry; 16 grandchildren, brothers Arthur (Barber-Ann) Curry, James (Shelia) Curry, Tyrone (Sharon) Curry, Ernest (Gloria) Curry, Mickey Curry, and Walter (Ollie) Anderson; sisters, Sharon Hill, Claydean (Randy) Gordon, Ella (Harvey) Williams, and Daisy (James) Drake; his mother-in-law, Mary Houston; brother-in-law. Willie (April) Houston, and three sisters-in-law, Tammy Curry, Brenda Curry and Jaqueline (Billy) Butler; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
