Jake Roseborough was born on November 18, 1948 to the late Jessie Roseborough, Sr. and Laura Childs Roseborough in Miller County, Georgia.

He joined Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church at an early age.  Later in life, he married Flora Bryant in Holy Matrimony and to this union four children were born.  Jake farmed his entire life until his health failed.  He retired after 45 years.

Jake departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Roseborough, Sr. and Laura Childs Roseborough; three children, Kenneth Roseborough, Sr., Kimberly Johnson and Reginald Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Brenda Roseborough, Barber and Rebecca Roseborough (Toney) Perkins, and a son Jake (Sonya) Roseborough, Jr. all of Colquitt, GA; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who will truly miss him; sisters, Mardy Lee Roseborough, Annette (Henry) Williams, Amanda (Curt) Battle, Alice Roseborough and Laureatha (Hinton) Bryant; brothers, Robert (Casandra) Roseborough and Morgan Roseborough; sisters-in-law Pearlene Roseborough, Brenda Roseborough and Elmire Roseborough; one uncle, Rev. Luke Childs, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
