Rosa Lee Jones was born on April 13, 1936 in Baker County, Georgia to the late Sam Jones and Beatrice Bodiford Jones.

She joined Christ CME Church at an early age.  Rosa attended school in the rural schools of Baker County, GA.  Rosa was a homemaker.  She was a caring, loving, giving person. Sister was dedicated to her family and friends and welcomed all who came in contact with her.  Rosa was full of life and very independent.

Rosa departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2022.  She is preceded in death by her first born, Johnny Jones; her grandson, Rodney Jones; her great grandson, Devan Patterson; her parents, Sam and Beatrice Jones; six sisters, Bertha, Ethel, Nancy, Lucille, Ida, and Janice; five brothers, Lovester, Willie, Sammy, Rufus, and Jimmy.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Essie Williams; two sons, Billy and Marsellas Jones; two sisters, Lillie Thomas and Shirley (James) Meyers; one brother, Robert (Emma) White; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; two best friends, Ethel Mary Reed and Mary Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
