Abraham Fountain was born on February 7, 1950 in Colquitt, Georgia to Lonie Fountain, Sr. and Susie Madax Fountain. He was born and raised in a Christian loving home.
He attended Bethel High School. After graduating high school, he worked as a pulpwood truck driver. Later, Abraham moved to Miami, FL where he became a heavy equipment operator for 33 years. He returned to Colquitt, GA and stayed from 2009 until 2018. From there, he moved to Orlando, FL and lived with his son until his health failed.
Abraham departed this life on Monday, October 18, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonie Fountain, Sr. and Susie Madax Fountain; sister, Carie M. Lenza; brothers, Lonie Fountain, Jr., Willie J. Fountain, and Charlie Fountain; aunts, Louise Grant and Sadie Gray.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughters, Peggy S. (Isaac Page) Fountain and Shanika Warren; two sons, Alfred (Lunji) Fountain and Byron Ware; two sisters, Dorothy Moten and Tammy Smart both of Bainbridge, GA; three brothers, Leon Fountain of Texas; William Fountain of Georgia and Larry Fountain, Bainbridge, GA; 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Note: During visitation and graveside services, per CDC regulations, face masks need to be worn and social distancing (maintaining 6 feet apart from one another) need to be practiced.
