Deacon Kinsey Shaw, Sr.

Kinsey Shaw, Sr. was born on December 5, 1947 to the late Deacon Edgar Shaw and Bertha Ann Lindsey Shaw.

He attended Bethel High School.  Kinsey accepted Christ at an early age and later in life, he became a deacon.  Hey enjoyed playing the guitar.

Kinsey departed this life on Friday, January 29, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Edgar Shaw and Bertha Ann Lindsey Shaw and seven of his siblings.

He leaves to cherish memories:  his children, Joyce Shaw (Mike) Douglas and Diane Shaw both of Colquitt, GA; Debra Shaw Walker, Albany, GA; Terrace (Nicka) Shaw, Cairo, GA; Kinsey Shaw and Tarus Shaw both of San Antonio, TX and Lester Haire, Sr. of Texas; 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; one sister Lucy Shaw Carter, Bainbridge, GA; one brother, William Shaw, Riverdale, GA; a special niece/caregiver, Lois Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
