Obituary
Marsellas Mike Jones was born on June 10, 1963 to Marcellus Mike and Rosa Lee Jones in Baker County, Georgia.
He joined Christ C.M.E. Church at an early age. After high school, Marsellas moved to Newark, New Jersey where he worked as a school bus driver for many years until he moved back home to help with his mother.
Marsellas departed this life on Saturday, June 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Lee Jones; two sisters Orio Mike and Gloria Mike; two brothers, Johnny Jones and Arrease Mike; one nephew, Rodney Jones and one great nephew, Devan Patterson. He was a very sweet person with a big heart. Everybody loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his father Marcellus Mike, Arlington, GA; seven daughters, TaQuondra, Marcellas, Aeniyah, Marshelle, Andrea, Rose Lee, and Breanna Jones; two sons, Raymond Jones and Marsellas Moutrye both of NJ; three sisters, Essie Williams, Colquitt, GA; Martha Mike, Leary, GA and Edna Mike (Mitchell) Williams, Miami, FL; four brothers, Billy Jones, Newton, GA; Matthew Mike, Arlington, GA; Carey Lewis, NJ and Megan Williams, Arlington, GA; two special friends, DaJah Morgan and Tyrone Hudson. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
